If I could rate zero I would. I missed cancelling the free trial cut off by 12 hours and the unhelpful customer service agent "Joe" told me there was nothing he could do about it.
It is clearly a strategy hoping people will forget to cancel to make money. You don't just pay for 1 month, you get the luxury of paying for 6 months = £69.
Obviously Joe denies the company uses this strategy, however if that wasn't the case why wouldn't they refund the money...
I didn't want to continue using the website as I found it to be completely unintuitive.

I had a browser issue using Safari which wouldn’t allow me to view images on Ancestry. Melanie emailed clear instructions for me to follow which immediately sorted my problem.
My email was answered in less than an hour too.

Ancestry + Traits - Would Not Recommend
Received the Ancestry + Traits one-off test as a present. Results were really disappointing. The types of traits chosen to test against seemed totally random (ie Aversion to Coriander, Ability to Remember Dreams etc) and results were wooly. As regards the ancestry part, again very general and no real detail - I suspect it depends what part of the world you are from as the data set for some countries is more extensive than others (seems like lots for Europe, very little for Asia). So if you happen to be from a part of the world with limited data, you get limited information back. I feel like I have just given Ancestry.co.uk my data to improve their database and got little in return. I would not recommend this product.

Awful customer service
Awful customer service! I paid an extortionate £19.99 for delivery within 3 business days - have had a notification to say it will be delivered outside of this timescale. Complained via their web chat and they said there was nothing I could do and ‘the best I can hope for’ is it is delivered soon! Was then given a non working email address to make a complaint and have since discovered there is no way to make a complaint! Shocking customer service.
Edit - I haven’t received a message from you? I am aware you offer standard and expedited delivery - I chose expedited at a cost of £19.99 (!) and you have failed to deliver within the stated timescale.

Not impressed. Lousy customer service.
I am paying £13.99 a month to Ancestry.co.uk for premium service but not getting it. I contacted customer service a while ago and they responded with a case number and nothing else. Would like a refund. Not impressed.
